Private Lessons

Located in each of our stores is a private lessons department to our School of Music. One on one instruction is the best way to advance on any instrument because of the personalized approach to teaching music. We’ve found that a 30 minute lesson, once a week, is one of the best ways to grow as a musician. Our teachers can accommodate the first-time beginners to the advanced musicians.

Our Current Lessons offerings are as follows per location:

Punxsy - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano
Indiana - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Voice, Violin, Mandolin, Bag-pipes, Flute, Trumpet, Alto Sax, Clarinet
Dubois - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Violin, Mandolin, Bag-pipes

Twice a year students participate in a showcase, showing off their talents! It is also a great way to see how well they are advancing and it allows them to hear other beginning musicians make some noise for their families and friends!

If you have any questions regarding private lessons, please feel free to contact any of our stores or leave us a comment here!

Hi my name is Torri Miller and i live in Marion Center. I play the trombone for my school’s concert band and marching band. Our school’s marching band music is pretty hard and i would like to know how to play some more notes so i don’t look stupid in front of the older kids.

Hello, my name is Claire, and I live in Clymer. I’ve been involved in music for many years, and I wish to learn a new instrument. I want to learn how to play electric bass guitar, so I can play in our schools Jazz Band Ensemble.

I would like to learn to play guitar. I sing and would love to be able to play my own music while I sing instead of singing along with karaoke tracks. Do you guys offer guitar lessons? If so, where?

    Thanks,
    Greg
